YOUR DREAMS ARE VALID

Have you ever felt like you're dreaming too big or too wild?
Have you ever felt like your dreams or visions are too lofty for someone in your class?
Have you ever felt like it cannot be done or achieved?
Has it ever crossed your mind that you just might be wasting your time?
Or perhaps you have even submitted and surrendered to the voices of impossibility that sound seemingly overwhelming.

I'd like you to know that your dream is valid. That time that has been conceived in your heart is valid and it doesn't matter what the voices, the situations, and the circumstances around you seem to be spelling out, your dream is as valid as the rising of the sun from the east and the setting of the same in the west.

It is true that the pursuit of purpose can be daunting and tiresome, such that we begin to doubt the essence and validity of our pursuit. However, there is a reason why God placed within us the innate ability to dream, and this is so that our minds can capture possibilities and this is very pivotal to the fulfillment of our purposes here on earth. I should very well let you know that possibilities that are available to us are infinitely abundant, like the galaxy of stars and like the sand of the seashores, therefore the saying;

"If you can think it, you can achieve it"

The reality however is that the cycle does not start from thinking, thinking comes later. It starts with seeing a picture. Thinking is a tool to then process the possibility we have captured through the eyes of our minds. It starts with dreaming.

A few examples that come to mind are the stories of Sir Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla. Both we visionary men who dreamed big and dared to achieve it, in spite of the odds stacked against them. Thomas Edison dreamed of a world where we wouldn't need to light up our homes with oil or kerosene as was the case in those days and then gave it a thousand attempts before he was eventually successful at such a novel invention that revolutionized the power industry. Nikola Tesla came on, later on, to pick up the dream from where Edison stopped and saw the possibilities of even powering cities and possibly the whole nation through Alternating current, which would make it possible for power to be generated on a much mega scale. History shows us that even Edison doubted and spitted the idea of the possibility of this happening, but Tesla knowing that his dreams were valid went on to make this happen the patent of this model was bought by JP Morgan and General Electric back then and the rest is history.

You see, your dreams are valid, it only takes Faith in your dreams. It's easy to want to shrink the size of our dreams and visions to the confines of the realities of the present times, but the world would never have evolved this magnificently if all of the great people we talk about today, relegated their dreams to the plain of impossibility or practically stopped dream and allowing themselves to capture images of immense possibilities the universe has to offer.

I can imagine how many times Elon Musk must have been told that a reusable rocket system was not possible, I can imagine how many attempts of discouragement the founder of Apple, Microsoft, Google, and the rest of those companies must have received. I can begin to imagine how Barack Obama must have been told that becoming the first Black President of the United States wasn't possible. I'm certain that the very likes of our phenomenal scientists and technologists must have encountered similar trends, but if they resulted in fate, we will not be singing their stories now.

I'm certain that if you look critically into your environments, you'll as well find contemporary examples of people who dared to dream big and believe that their dreams are valid and are making waves and achieving impact.

You as well can join the league, I'm already on this journey and I'm inviting you as well to dare to dream big and never stop dreaming because your dreams are valid. Remember the story of the boy who harnessed the wind?

Finally, for God to get Abraham to get the practicality of the possibility of the promise he made to him, he said to him to look as far and as wide as he can see... Genesis 13:14-17
So, what can you see?
