THE POWER OF TRANSFORMATION (2)

To transform (greek origin: metamorphoo) means to change into another form.  Its synonym is transfigure. Transformation occurs at different levels.  In the biological sciences, there is a concept known as metamorphosis, simply change of states in growth.  Let's pick a butterfly for instance.

eggs->larva->chrysalis->adult

Noting the fact that there are different experiences peculiar at each stage. At the larva stage all the butterfly does is eat. At adult stage the butterfly not only eats but flies around, pollinates and does every other thing a butterfly can do. Here we'd see that transformation in itself is a
1. Continuous process
2. Timely process

The Bible in Romans 12:2 says,
"And be not conformed to this WORLD: but be ye TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of YOUR MIND, that ye may PROVE what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, WILL of God."

To break down this passage, Apostle Paul says no one should cling to any phase (egg,  larva,  chrysalis or adult) but be transformed (transfigured, changed completely). Attachment to a phase means clinging to the limitations in a phase. There's always a higher level.

It also says this TRANSFORMATION  would happen only by the RENEWING OF MIND. This is why maturity is not how long you've lived but how well you've been able incline your mind to wisdom. Renewing the mind transcends one regularly from a phase to another.

The true power of transformation is seen in the next word for consideration: PROVE. Ah-ah!  This is where maturity is really tested, proofs. Transformation brings one to a level of sweatless proofs. A butterfly with wings doesn't just explain theoretical concept about flights but demonstrates it!  Transformation brings us to a level where our words are very much in alignment with our results.

In conclusion,

Romans 8:19
"For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God."

Creation is waiting for the emergence of those who would manifest(PROVE) and not just speak theories. Make a personal commitment of constant mind renewal by embedding yourself into God's word and grow out of theories to tangible results. Only those who do this get PROOFS (Jn 15:4,7)

Shalom.

  2. Awesome one sir.
How you tied up transformation with phase shifts and the results that accompany it
Which serves as proofs that one has gone through a process
Not just mouth or Grammer speaking.
Thanks. I've learned from your post.

    1. You're right sir,
True transformation must be evidently seen, not just confessed or professed...
      Thanks for reading sir.
