Understanding Instruction
I was once in a meeting where the speaker said something that got me really thinking. He said and I quote "that God spoke to you doesn't mean he has finished speaking".
I realised that most times, when God speaks to us, we are not patient to get the details, we don't wait to know if he is done talking, we don't wait to get direction and further instructions on the things he has said to us.
Although I quite agree that there is this dynamic power that accompanies the word of God, such a force that sets you on your feet, a kind of power that sets on on the course of action.
However, that you heard go, doesn't mean now. It is imperative to understand timing when God speaks to us. Is the instruction for the now or later, is it specific or general? And stuffs like that. This is essential so as not to fall into error while trying to serve God's purpose... But when you hear now it is definitely a go. Then you don't have to waste time, you must hurry, because the instruction is explicit enough.
Bottom line is, you must always wait for the confirmation of " Now" before you set out to do God's work or fulfill God's instruction.
Shalom.
