RAPE- A wicked evil under the sun

Today is about something that particularly touches me and in fact my eyes well with tears pumped from my heart. I already prepared about three thoughts to share one with you today until a very sad 😢 news hit me again. Another dear friend told me she has once been raped 😢 and she's now caught up in a cycle of needs. This is the third of my friend, out of nowhere, without soliciting for information that is telling me about their rape experience. One of them was multiple times. Common, this is pure evil!
I told her I am sorry for her experience and she said "it's part of life." The ocean of tears already in my eyes came rolling. She now sees it as normal, she must have given it a thought thousands of times. The question is, what could she have done?

I had once unrepentantly declared that I don't want a girl child, but as I matured and began to reckon with my inner world I realised the girl child has untold powers, with her lies healing powers for many of the ills of our world. Now the great healer has been wounded, her innocence stolen from her. A fraction of her is out of control, she thinks the world is not meant for her! Where are the good Samaritans? Where are the young men and fathers who would protect the girl child? Where are the young ladies and mothers who would provide warmth, love and care?

Now, more than ever I hope the menace of rape stops. All men have urge but many mastered their bodies, it's very possible brothers to abstain till marriage.

I pray for all victims of rape including mental rape, that the healing balm of Gilead pour out over each as a mighty river, may it drown tears, insecurities, pains, unhealthy self images, ungodly and unhealthy habits and may all that has been baptized in this balm emerge as whole beings, happy and confident of love, secured and free of pain from their past and unhealthy decisions.
We pray for the girl child predators too, we ask Lord that you forgive them as we have agreed to forgive them. Lord we pray that You show them the way everlasting and cause their hearts within them to be broken and contrite. You are a merciful God! Let the blood of Jesus be a ransom for all misdeeds and let hearts be sprinkled with the blood against guilty conscience. In Jesus name!
I still have so much to say but I would not want to bore you. It's not about how many words it's how important the words are and their effectiveness.

Hey there! Let's talk about hope. Are you at your lowest and it seems like you're never going to come out of that situation? Do you feel like you're in a pit and it feels like you're never going to see the sunshine again?
